A Warm Fall Cottage

Well now that we have made it through another Halloween, we can look forward to Thanksgiving!

For my second cottage, I went with a fall theme to capture the warm, vibrant, inviting colors of fall.

I decided early on that the best way to bring the warm colors together, as well as keep within the cottage theme was to do a burlap roof to represent a thatched roof.

The front of the house and all around the trees are pumpkins and leaves. The leaves started out as just plain white paper. The eBrush is a great tool to bring pops of colors! Not only are the paper leaves colored, but the leaves on the trees have pops of color on them as well.

  1. This is such an amazing cottage! It looks real, only scaled down. I love the three part series of this svg file and I can't wait to see what is in store for the Christmas one.

    1. Yes, I need to get planning that one! Thank you
