No Means Ask Grandpa

I have a fun shadowbox I made for an upcoming arrival of a little baby girl. The client asked me for something in a shadowbox form with a "no means ask grandpa" saying. After picking out the theme from AVG Attic's SDS Rockabye Baby Cards file, I went to the craft shops with a small plan.

After a trip to Joann's and Michaels, I ended up with a Posh & Pink theme. I tell you what, the newest stacks from DCWV are amazing. I cannot get enough of them. They are all double sided so I find that I use less paper and at the same time more of the actual 12 x 12 sheet of paper!

To start with this 11 x 14 frame, I needed to make sure the paper was able to adhere to the back. I took the foam padding out and used some 'This to That' strong adhesive tape (that paper is going nowhere for a long long time) to lay the base down. Then I took some silver and pink Rinea Foil paper to edge each rectangle as well as do small highlights in each SVG Attic file.
Then I cut each file out and arranged it to showcase the main baby files from SVG Attic, as well as the little encouraging words from the stack.
The bottle, pins, rocking horse, and baby carriage have pop up tabs on the back of them to give some depth within the shadowbox.
The client was pleased and it was super nice to make something different!
